The team showed big potential for a great season at our first tournament. As always, thanks to the parents and coaches who came out to support us yesterday at Seaholm High School for the Maple Invitational. Out of our 24 entries, 8 broke to semis, and 3 broke to finals.

The early bird got the worm at the 2016 Early Bird Tournament! Despite bringing only two entries, we still were champions in the small sweepstakes division, starting the 2016-2017 season with a bang. Special thanks to Callie Agius for spending her Saturday judging for us speech nerds. Out of 2 events, 2 broke finals!

This year's Mackinac tournament hosted over 700 people! We have become a force to be reckoned with in the state of Michigan and we are very proud. A special thank-you to all our coaches, alumni judges, and parents who graciously volunteered to support and chaperone this weekend. Also, a big thank-you to MSCI and the Grand Hotel for hosting this fabulous tournament. In the Grand division WLW tied for second but fell to third on a coin flip. Out of 25 events, 10 broke semi-finals, 5 broke finals, and 2 won! Please Congratulate:

WLW Foren(6), as in 6th in the State!

States was a tremendous journey and a phenomenal competition! As always an enormous thank you to the Ziegelmans, Coopers, Silvermans, and Fitzpatricks for their support and parenting. Also thank you to the Hampton Inn and Central Michigan University for hosting and containing wacky forensics kids. Furthermore, we are very proud of Taylor Dalton and Jerrie Young and their hard work in the tabs room, representing WLW Forensics well! Also a HUGE thank you to Callie, Corcoran, and Krystin for judging and supporting as usual! Moreover, thank you to everyone who helped set up awards. THE WLW FORENSICS TEAM TOOK 6TH IN THE STATE! Sarah Banks Forensics Left Saginaw in Awe!
Such a truly splendid time with an enormous body of middle school competitors. Our first thank you goes to the students who helped judge and support the team; Devin Hister, Nayman Jumaah, Brendan Kramer, and David Hollowell. Our second thank you goes to the parents of many competitors for coming out to help support the team. Our third thank you goes to the team members who spent so much time coming to the middle school to help coach these students! Of course we can't forget the competitors themselves! Thanks to all you guys who put in the time and effort to make us what we can be! Out of 12 Entries: 6 Broke to Semis, and 3 broke to finals. Note some higher scores did not necessarily break finals due to several ties.

Regionals 6A was a success in our book! We are very excited to be taking 23 state entries (Our most in years!), out of 27 entries total. We would first like to thank everyone who helped prepare the regional tournament at Walled Lake Western this year. We are the Warriors!

We are the Warriors!

What an amazing tourney with great hard work, great new fun, and very well run! This was a great day and thanks to our well-run tab team and awesome award ceremony, we definitely prove to be the most outstanding tourney of the year! Our first thank you goes off to the ever-amazing tech crew that helped make today run kind of smoothly! Without all their hard-work up in the booth we wouldn't be what we are! Our second thank you goes to the alums who helped judge, run tab, and all that jazz. Our third thank you goes to the Ziegelmans, Blochs, Fitzpatricks, Alguires, and all who helped run our awesome food stand and support the students! Another thank you goes to our base team members who scrambled around today in an effort to help accommodate the mass amount of people! Of course we can't forget the competitors themselves!
