Middle Schoolers Covered the Covington State Tournament!

WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! What an amazing tourney with great hard work, great new fun, and great winners! We hope everyone enjoyed the day. Our first thank you goes to the seniors who helped judge and support the team; Devin Hister, Sam Bloch, and Layla Noormarji. Our second thank you goes to the parents of many competitors for coming out to help support the team. Of course we can't forget the competitors themselves! WLW Forensics was Grand at the Grand!

WLW Forensics was Grand at the Grand!

Wooooooooooooohoooooooooo! Mackinac has been a major success! From 1997-2013 Portage Northern has won Mackinac in sweeps, and last year we were the team to beat them! We took home an enormous 1st Place Horse trophy and a traveling Cup trophy, and this year we did it again! We have become a force to be reckoned with in the state of Michigan and we are very proud. A special thank-you to all our coaches, alumni judges, and parents who graciously volunteered to support and chaperone this weekend. Also, a big thank-you to MSCI and the Grand Hotel for hosting this fabulous tournament. Out of 31 events, 18 broke semi-finals, and 11 broke finals. Please Congratulate:

WLW Forensics Had A Date with States!

Wooooooooooooohoooooooooo! States was a tremendous journey and a phenomenal competition! As always an enormous thank you to the Alguire and Frane family for supporting Tak, Lauren, and the team. Also thank you to the Hyatt Place and Oakland University for hosting and containing wacky forensics kids. Furthermore, we are very proud of Taylor Dalton and Jerrie Young and their hard work in the tabs room, representing WLW Forensics well! WLW Was Running Birch Run!

Woooooooooohooooooo! Out of 13 entries, 12 made semis and 8 made finals. A humongous thank you to EVERYONE who made it out today, we understand the roads were really bad and we are so glad you came. A HUGE thank you to Callie for representing our team and Kristin for finishing out the day with us and judging. You will all be pleased to know that Western took home a Third Place trophy in the Medium Division of sweepstakes Also thanks to our competitors for sticking it out today! This was a really great tournament and we couldn't be any more proud of the team!

WLW Stapled the Maple Invitational!

Woooooooooohooooooo! Out of 12 entries, 4 made semis and 3 made finals. A humongous thank you to EVERYONE who made it out today. The Alguires for their delicious snacks. Also to Callie Agius and Mrs. Corcoran for judging! WLW took home the Second Place trophy in the Silver Division of sweepstakes Also thanks to our competitors for sticking it out today! A pat on the back to Bev for teaching his judging workshop and a thank you to alums Noah Miller, Taylor Dalton and Sam Bloch, for performing at a mock competition.
